The weather is starting to cool off and we are still dicking with logs that are too bowed. We cut this one (at a window opening) to get rid of the bow. That way, we could make the most out of the log.The butt end was somewhat tough to align because on the round of logs below, we let the shoulder get too high. Oh, well, it makes me more proficient at lock notching.
Addie got the building sprayed down with Penetreat, as I wanted to get the logs treated before it gets cold. The logs we put on during the winter will just have to wait to be treated until spring.
